I was feeling pretty stupid, as I downloaded Beta2 the weekend it came out and have not been able to get it working. To give it a clean go, I have a WinXP VM that I installed it in. It would install fine. But every time it would get through the set up, it would crash with the LARGEST dialogbox I've seen in a while - so large it wouldn't fit on my screen (see below). This crash would occur with the basic & standard clients. I've fiddled, searched this forum, and fiddled more. I've included the NSDs from the crashes below.
I'm a roaming user, so I thought that was it, Nope. Have I given enough resouces to the VM? Doubled them (1GB RAM now), Nope. Etc. Turns out that if I remove our Organizational Setup Policy, the problem goes away. Now that I've found that, I'm able to search more specifically and find someone else having this issue:
